Schedule!
For the coming summer, 2012, we have a great schedule of trips. As always, booking early saves you money, and also gives you the greatest chance to secure the dates you want. If the schedule above doesn't quite align with your own schedule, definitely contact me if you have any questions.
In the spring I'm leading 2 Aurora borealis photo tours. We then start off the summer with a sea kayaking trip to Icy Bay, which is an spectacular place on the Alaska coast. Icy Bay lies hidden beneath the towering St. Elias Range, the world's tallest coastal mountain range and home of 18 008' high Mt. St. Elias - Definitely check this trip out!
We also have an exciting backpacking trip to returning to Gates of the Arctic National Park, around the Arrigetch Peaks area in late August. This 10day expedition is tailored to fit your experience leve.
Wrapping up the season are 2 extraordinary weeks of grizzly bear photo tours, always a fun time. Please contact us if you have any questions.
If you don't see what you're looking for, send me a note; I'm always glad to try to accomodate custom schedules. A number of trips aren't onthe roster every year, so let me know what your backpacking and photography interests are. I try to be as fluid and flexible as possible with bookings, to work with trip participants and plan the trip around your itinerary.
Each trip will have a maximum of 5 or 6 participants and one guide. If you or your group would like to arrange a trip with more people, please discuss this with me. Most of these trips are in remote backcountry wilderness and the large groups of people can put undue pressure on the region.
Book Early!
The earlier you make arrangements, the greater the likelihood we can align the schedules. Visit our backpacking and hiking trips overview page for a look at each of these trips.
