1000 Eagles!

 

-- silhouettes are always eye-grabbing. Usually those images are backed by a fantastic sunset, a dramatic play of color and shadow. I saw an opportunity here to make a very unique image. The background was a large patch of ice that I knew would reflect the light up at my camera. By carefully framing the head of the bird so it was within that oval-shaped backdrop, I knew I'd have a very dynamic image. One viewer commented on this image "I see a thousand eagles in this frame" and that represents precisely the vision I had for it.

I'm constantly working towards furthering my stock lists, and improving my portfolio. These images are all of wild subjects, in their natural environment.
